Every Thursday, here at Like Mother, Like Daughter!

For all the bustle and excitement that comes with throwing two weddings in three weeks, we are actually relatively calm over here.

Busy, yes. There are no fewer than six lists on the kitchen table as I type this! But crazy -- not quite. I think we're right on track and it's all coming together. The first bride walks down the aisle in just a few days, and no one is panicking yet!

Habou has been gardening up a storm for weeks now, and it shows! We'll have to show you more -- you know, once things calm down a bit. But I went around taking photos of some of the glorious irises in bloom right now.

This pink one is gorgeous. Do you remember the scene with the singing flowers in the Disney Alice in Wonderland? This is the flower I would want to be.

Will the peonies bloom in time for the weddings? I'm hopeful!

What could possibly be happier than a little boy finding his first frog? We've seen him here by the steps twice, and Pippo looks for him now when we walk by.

One last pre-wedding haircut for the groom, who came up a few days early to help with the preparations (especially insofar as they involve lifting heavy objects and reaching high places).

Pippo takes advantage of the open space while my mom and I make plans at the reception site. It may not look like much here, but trust me. It is going to be awesome.
