Pippo and I are here!
We are staying for what I've been referring to as "the wedding season," trying our best to be helpful.

I was so excited when I found these boots for him on clearance at Target several weeks ago. He was not. In fact, the first few times I tried to put them on him, he pretty much freaked out and pulled them off immediately.
But this mama was not going to give up on cute rubber boots so easily, especially when we're heading to muddy Massachusetts. I tried again on our first trip out in the yard, ignored his protests, and bundled him out the door. After a few unsteady steps he got the hang of the bulky things, and by the time he found the big puddle he was completely sold.

We headed out to run some errands the other day, and happened upon a traveling petting zoo in the parking lot of the Rite Aid in the town next door!
So random. But conscientious grandparents do not pass the petting zoo if their grandson is in the backseat.
Pippo was a little shy about feeding the animals, so my mom helped him out.
She said the camel's lips felt funny.

My mom and I took advantage of naptime to get some grocery shopping in, and as we were loading up the car I got a phone call from Will: "How do I make your baby stop crying?"
(Answer: Pretzels and Calvin and Hobbes on the couch.)
