{pretty}
Currently adorning my kitchen windowsill: a little bunch of lavender from my garden, and three oranges from a friend's tree.
(sidenote: What a thrill for this New England girl to pick her own oranges! I told Pippo that if he were a six-month-old in Massachusetts, he never would have even seen that tree. I'm pretty sure he appreciated the moment.)
{happy}
Tomatoes! In our garden! We're basically farmers. Sort of.
{funny}
First tastes of squash.
(Actually, he liked it, as you can see below. But he makes this face for the first few bites of every food. It's a new enough experience for him that I think he's surprised every time it doesn't taste like milk!)

{real}
Two teeth! See them? (one is behind a little squash)
Cut right before and during our trip to DC. Not the best timing. Poor baby. He did very well, considering.
