After three seasons of a wreath bedecked with autumnal dried flowers, I finally pulled it apart and gave my front door a fresh look! I like to think of it as appropriate for the 4th of July, but not so holiday-specific as to look out of place for the rest of the summer.
Or perhaps even longer, knowing me.
(Patriotism is always in season on a military base, right?)

While I gardened, my little boy practiced sitting and explored the grass.
{funny}
Pippo's daddy throws him much higher than his mama is willing (or, for that matter, able) to. Pippo loves it.
And somehow manages to chew on his hand the whole time!

Soon after I wondered whether a steam mop would help get my floors clean, I happened upon one for cheap one at Salvation Army! Having never actually seen a steam mop in real life, I didn't realize that it was missing a few parts. (I do have the lid to the water well; it's just not on in this picture). I think I might be able to get replacements for the missing pieces from the company, but that seems like more trouble than I'm likely to get to anytime soon.
But a piece of string and a refrigerator magnet clip later, we're in business!
