Being in the military resembles being at summer camp in a few ways, including
a) you often sleep outside, and
b) pretty much all your belongings have your name on them.
Including your socks.
ps - Don't worry, Pippo was just chilling in his carseat and keeping us company while we ate breakfast (see the bacon and eggs? Yes, he is on the table. And no, my husband doesn't drink Dr Pepper with breakfast. Forget you saw that). If we were going in the car, I would have buckled him in.
And changed his socks.
