I'm changing the orientation (horizontal instead of vertical -- isn't that how bricks usually go?), and for some reason decided brown would be better than cream for the "mortar", and I'm not having a border.Monday, February 2, 2009

Oh, I have tons of scraps, I can make this one. Thanks.
The quilt in the last picture reminds me of a stained glass window for some reason...
Edi, I thought exactly the same thing. Your bricks Leila, look like stained glass. Very, very pretty and rich.
That is a great quilt! I could do that. Thanks for sharing.
i love this pattern, looks like something even i could do!
So pretty! I can picture this on a cozy bed in a room filled with winter sunlight.
I had candles glowing in my home last night...thanks for that.
I've got quilt tops of pieced together...I just haven't gotten around to quilting them yet. That's the part I hate. I always seem to pucker the material.
Beautiful!
wow! what a fantastic pattern! I could totally do this and be all 1930s thrifty because those are little rectangles that might otherwise get tossed out. love it.
